The guest house is done. The master bedroom is complete. Now this family home needs some zones for the kids. The latest reno episode of Blue Lagoon Build
shows that this house design is definitely going to be a hit for young and old.
First up it's the kids toy room and bedroom. Kyal & Kara have selected art and soft furnishings in natural tones and textures, including seashell themed removable wall stickers and internal wall cladding in Taubmans Endure 'Thornyhold'. Natural light floods in to this play area through the Ascend Sliding Window, illuminating the possibilities for imagination and adventure.
Next is the rumpus, which includes an amazing loft with its very own suspended hammock-style net. Access the loft by climbing up the hideaway ladder. From this vantage point you can see right across the room, into the kitchen and even beyond the tree tops.
Kara says "My favourite part of the room is definitely the height and the grandeur of the ceiling, and those highlight windows letting in the natural light".
Nestled behind the sheer Allusion, Marzipan curtain on one side sits a huge 1.8 x 2.7m Paragon picture window that looks out to the rear vegetable gardens. Facing opposite is a Paragon Sliding Door that leads to the backyard.
The greater rumpus area also features a helical spiral staircase which makes a stunning focal point, natural light from the Paragon highlight celestory
window embraces its graceful flowing curves.
