Wideline, at its core, is big on supporting the communities that supports us. We love to get involved assisting local sporting programs, getting behind local charities and supporting events that bring the community together.
Since 1975 the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service has grown from a part-time voluntary summer beach patrol to world-class aeromedical search and rescue operation. This has been possible with the assistance from Westpac Bank as our naming rights sponsor, our corporate partners, community donations and of course our incredible volunteer support groups.
Wamberal Surf Lifesaving Club is a family oriented club with a focus on educating, fun, fitness and teaching people, especially young people all about the surfing environment. The lessons they pass onto their members are life skills that they will have forever and Wideline are proud to be associated with an association so committed to the communities wellbeing.
The Central Coast Sharks are a Gridiron (American Football) team based on the Central Coast and play in the NSW Gridiron League.The sharks have a junior team (15-19) and a senior team (19+). Gridiron is a sport where many different sizes, body types and skill sets can thrive. The Central Coast Sharks always encourage and welcome new players.
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Program, supports Grandparent’s who have the fulltime care and responsibility of their grandchildren. They run camps, picnics, seminars and provide one on one family support, professional help, referral and counselling. Six support groups on the Central Coast, give grandparent’s an opportunity to share stories, swap ideas and learn more about how to cope. They are places for a friendly cuppa and a chat with people who really understand.
