This year Wideline Windows & Doors celebrates its 50th Anniversary. The company attributes their rich history to the individuals and innovations that have helped shape their success. With the same passion that has sustained the company for the past half century, Wideline is leading into the future with an emphasis on expansion, innovation and service to deliver superior customer experience.” From modest beginnings in September 1971, Wideline now employs more than 300 people and operates over nine acres of land across several facilities, inhabiting 15,000m2 of production space. Having this level of control over the end-to-end manufacturing process allows the company to contain costs and manage production to fulfill orders on time and in full to the benefit of its customers. Based on the NSW Central Coast their facilities include residential aluminium, architectural aluminium, timber, screens and state-of-the-art glass factories, plus a world class vertical powder coat facility. Wideline’s five modern Showrooms have been carefully designed to provide builders, architects and home-owners an immersive experience to evoke inspiration and understanding, with over 50 products and accessories on display. Some of Wideline’s key achievements include: Being a founding member of the Australian Window Association (AWA). HIA Innovation Award for the patented design of Halo Aquashield™ flashing. Being the first window and door manufacturer in NSW to build a Vertical Power Coat Facility, which launched Logan Architectural Finishing. Long term supporter of dozens of sporting and charity groups, including Westpac Helicopter, Feel the Magic, Surf Life Saving, Rotary and Lions Club events. Manufacturing locally made products as a family-owned Australian business. The company promotes a family-first philosophy, creating cultural alignment through shared values to attract and retain top talent. Indeed, they count more than 40 staff who have been with the company for over 15 years, some over 30 years, that provide a wealth of sound experience and governance as a pathway for future growth. Wideline continues to make significant investment in its people, technology and equipment to achieve quality and performance outcomes and be a champion of Australian family-owned manufacturing. This past year has seen more than its fair share of challenges and opportunities.
